Tamala Chirwa

Tamala Chirwa is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Credentialed Professional Certified Coach (PCC) specializing in Executive Leadership Coaching, Group and Team Coaching and an ICF Registered Mentor Coach. She is a LEIPA Facilitator, Certified DISC Practitioner, Coach-Trainer, and Leadership Consultant. She holds an MBA from MANCOSA-South Africa, ACCA Diploma in Financial Management and a Post-Graduate Associate in Management Certificate from University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, South Africa. During her corporate career, she held various positions in organizations in Malawi, South Africa and Kenya where she excelled at delivering high-value solutions as a manager in Finance, Administration, Human Resources Management, Training and Coaching functions. She has robust experience in designing and delivering impactful leadership development and coach-training programmes in organizations.
Tamala works with and supports C-Suite leaders who intentionally seek to transform their leadership and career journeys for their own growth and the people they lead and impact. She specializes in the areas of Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Team Development and Performance and Personal/Professional Branding. Her coaching philosophy is on the premise that high performers must be adequately and consistently supported to sustain the successes they register in their career trajectories to build powerful legacies. She has a track record in developing coaching programmes that have proven to be highly impactful for hundreds of professionals across Africa. Her coaching and facilitation style entails supporting leaders through life-changing personal and leadership development expeditions in their quest to succeed in their spaces. She remains steadfast in contributing towards advancing the coaching agenda to enhance the leadership capacity of leaders as they generate solutions to different workplace, business and societal challenges. She scales her leadership impact through Professional Coaching Institute (PCI), a coach-training company she founded, that provides coaching services, coach-training programmes and advises organisational leaders to embed coaching in their workplace cultures through leadership development and coaching programmes. She is a board member of World Connect and a Trustee of the Board of International Coaching Federation Foundation.
