Tikhala Itaye

Tikhala Itaye is a lawyer by profession with a heart for social development and Human Rights.

She specializes in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Global Health, Social Development and Leadership. She Leads her own non-profit organisation called HeR Liberty.

She has developed a TV Drama series on HIV and Gender Based Violence targeting young people.

A former TV presenter and personality on a Malawian Local TV show called “21st Generation.”

She is also the Former UNFPA Youth Advisor for East and Southern Africa; President, African Youth and Adolescent Network (AfriYAN), Board Member for The Global Partnership on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and the current Chairperson, Global SheDecides movement.
